Having something that looks great is a wonderful thing, but it wlll only work if it ticks all the boxes in terms of positioning, sustainability, price, route to market and reason. I’ve spent my career building my creative know-how and I love that I can now turn my hand to many creative and artistic pursuits, but my work has always been driven by the end goal and grounded by a meaningful purpose for something to belong. After all, form without function is just a shape.

With a world so full of ‘stuff’, innovation is the only way to truly stand out and be noticed, but how do you do that with so much noise around? Design without purpose just adds to the noise and, design that is not approached sustainably, has no meaningful future. My career has been all about exploration - to discover, nurture and grow new ideas. At the heart of everything is an idea - it can inspire, break boundaries or simply create a smile, but above all it needs to matter.
